MONISE MOSES

CORRESPONDING SECRETARY

Monise Moses was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She went to McCall Elementary School and Charter High School for Architecture and Design (CHAD) in the City of Philadelphia. After she graduated from High School, Monise attended Widener University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.

She currently works for TranSystems located in Center City Philadelphia, working on various civil design tasks pertaining to bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects. Her job requires her to be efficient and remain in constant communication with coworkers.

When TranSystems developed the Diversity Action Council (DAC), Monise volunteered to be part of a new opportunity. The DAC consist of five subcommittees which are Leadership, Systems Criteria, Organizational Processes, Communications and External Relationships. Monise is the leader of the External Relationships Subcommittee. She oversees four colleagues in the pursuit for an inclusive work environment.

In November 2021, Monise joined the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) Philadelphia Chapter. She is actively involved with the Scholarship Luncheon Committee and Golf Outing Committee. Monise is also involved with the Marketing Committee to help build and promote the many opportunities COMTO has to offer.
